Jill Koenig the “Goal Guru”
By Bryan Clark on Jul 31, 2007 in Uncategorized
Who Is Jill Koenig?
Koenig has been coaching and mentoring leaders, entrepreneurs and small biz owners for over ten years. She has worked with and studied under many of the best selling authors, business leaders and philosophers of our time, including Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen and Rober Allen.
Jill Koenig has been featured on The Fox News Channel, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News and The Jenny Jones Show.
Koenig’s uplifting daily newspaper column is syndicated in 21 newspapers across America and abroad. Koenig’s articles have been published in numerous business and personal development magazines. She is the Creator of The Time Commandments! time management audio program and the publisher of America’s largest Goal Ezine and Goal Blog.
Her passion in life is helping you achieve your goals and UNLEASH your untapped potential.
At 25 years old, Jill realized that her life wasn’t going to change by itself. Stuck in poverty, and unhappy with her life she decided to do something about it. To make a long story short, she was a self-made millionaire by age 30.
Jill is a master at allowing others to harness their unrealized potential. It really is about realizing potential. ALL of us have greatness inside of us. FEW of us ever realize it fully.
Some Things Jill Has Made Me Realize
- My time is my most valuable asset. Often I struggle to achieve my goals just because I lacked the skills to prioritize effectively. Reaching my goal might bring me money, but money can’t even buy more time. I have to effectively make use of the 24 hours in a day to be successful.
- Whatever I thought I knew about being successful was wrong. I used to think that making a lot of money made me successful. I see it differently now. What good is a job that pays me 200,000 a year if I work 80 hours a week? I’ve really started to evaluate what success means to me. I came up with this… Success to me, means that I get to do what I enjoy for a living. Obtaining my goal, gets me just that. I get to communicate with my wonderful readers, and make money doing it
- A positive attitude means everything. Separating yourself from negatives in your life will help you achieve your goal that much faster. Don’t ever underestimate the power of positivity.
- There really isn’t that much difference between a success and a failure. Most of our behavior is learned, and therefore, it can be unlearned as well. A few habits are all it takes anyone to get over the hump. To quote Jill’s book “The Time Commandments” (which I just finished last night) -
“Success is all about momentum. Think of a freight train. Once a freight train gets going it is incredibly difficult to stop.
I couldn’t agree more.
I’ve had a moderate amount of success my first month blogging. Do you think I am going to stop and appreciate it? I did! I stopped for ONE NIGHT and went out with some friends. I have no intention of allowing the momentum I’ve created to stop. I’m making a snowball, and rolling it down a snow covered hill. By the time it gets to the bottom, I’ll have created something magnificent. Did it take me pushing it down the hill? No! It just needed a little momentum to get it rolling.
Jill has helped me more in two weeks than I’ve been able to help myself in 25 years. She’s taught me so much (and hopefully keeps teaching me) that I am relatively certain that If I keep working hard, I will achieve my goal.
Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, David Beckham, Walter Payton, Lance Armstrong, Andre Agassi, even Muhammand Ali - All have one thing in common. A coach. Can you achieve your goals without a great coach?
Jill Sounds Awesome… Can She Help Me?
Absolutely! For the small fee of $3,000 for a weekend seminar. You can sign up by clicking the contact me section on her website goalguru.com. Jill is a very busy woman, and is highly sought-after among some of todays biggest businessmen, entrepreneurs, athletes, and celebrities.
Don’t have $3,000? Well my friend. You are in luck. Jill has just opened her program called “Goal University” to new entrants. I joined just about a week ago, and think it is probably the smartest investment I’ve ever made. I feel like with her on my side, there is nothing that stands in the way of me reaching my goals. Jill has authorized me to allow my readers to enter the program early at the half price rate of $27 a month. I almost jumped at the chance to offer this to you. $27 a month? Are you kidding me? That’s less than the cost of a dinner at Applebee’s. And it tastes better too!

Thank you for your kind words Bryan. I love working with DotComPreneurs. Obviously I appreciate the power of the internet and what is possible for anyone who sets their Goals and commits to achieving them.
There is no limit. You are living proof, it’s easier to go fast than to go slow.

Aj - Actually it’s about helping my readers. I believe Jill has a lot to offer.
I also believe that to get where you want to go, you need some guidance along the way. Who better to guide you than a best selling author, motivational speaker, and a self-made millionaire. Choosing the right mentor is one of the steps to success. I have 2 that have helped me in more ways that I can speak. And we’ve just begun!
Jill - No thanks needed. I speak the truth!

You are absolutely right, we all need mentors in every area of our lives. Running my own Goal Setting website I could not agree with you more. Although we take people through an automated process of setting goals nothing replaces the need to have a physical mentor at the end of the telephone, email or indeed in person, asking the right questions and encouraging you to become all that you can be in life.
All the best!

Too bad I’m just a student. I don’t really have that much money (yet) and the time. I would have easily taken that seminar.

Loved the post.
““Success is all about momentum. Think of a freight train. Once a freight train gets going it is incredibly difficult to stop.”
That’s a great quote. I’ll have to keep it.
I’ll have to say that your blog, OneMansGoal, has inspired me to achieve big dreams lately. I’ve really only had a few my entire life, but I’ve never achieved any. Never graduated from college, never played college sports, never because the greatest guitarist who ever lived. Haha. At least I could still go back to college one day and just maybe (like 1 and a million) go down as the greatest guitarist of my time.

mahdi - Thanks for the tip. Sometimes I think I’m allergic to spell check
Jason - Who says you can’t be those things? Being the greatest guitar player of all time just requires putting in more practice than anyone else. Achieve it!

Did you see the 3 Gs Tour or something with Vai, Satriani, and Malmsteen? I have some of that stuff on video. Pretty loco.
By the way, and this is me for a short jam http://erevenueselect.com/aboutjason .
A lot of work ahead huh?

I don’t remember the tour name. It was about 2-3 years ago and it was just him.
I think your guitar jam sounds pretty sweet.

“Often I struggle to achieve my goals just because I lacked the skills to prioritize effectively.” I think that’s really true, and one of the most overlooked things.
That’s part of the reason why I found Faimous.com to be helpful… in terms of goal-setting for online tasks. It might just give you a few extra minutes a day, which I think we could all do with.
And a positive attitude seems to be the key to it all… I absolutely agree. Sometimes how you view your setbacks in life can make all the difference.
