    Nice post, I actually switched to HostGator recently.

    I used Dreamhost for two years, but their uptown has been bad recently. Plus I had some issues with some of their server settings. I’ve loved HostGator so far, it gets a lot of recommendations guys. So, if you don’t have a good host, check out Hostgator guys.

    @Nashville SEO Zombie - I feel you. When I bought relaxationtips.org I was trying to upload all of the files with an FTP manager and for some reason it wasn’t working. I called up hostgator. One of their reps logged into my account made the nessasary changes and bamn, my site was live

    @One year millionaire - thanks, once I finish replying to comments I’m going to make my post on pointing the domains at your server and installing wordpress.

    Just curious, how are they about doing restores. I’m with GoDaddy. I started out with them, they were the mainstream company, I knew nothing at the time. So I just stay with them, it seems like a huge hassel to switch to someone else. Anyways, I’m embarassed to say this, but there have been a few instances where I’ve deleted files in my FTP that I had to have, and GD charged me a few hundred to get them back… What’s HG’s policy on this?

    Hostgator is an excellent hosting company. They currently sponsor me my dedicated server :)

    Great video! You should write up a quick little pdf with scree shots. I bet you could bundle them together and sell the video and eBook online and make some nice side money.

    @Nashville, I’m a DreamHost survivor too!

    Nice tutorial Marc - I’m pretty dedicated to Godaddy myself, but I know Hostgator is a highly recommended hosting company that everyone talks about. I may give them a shot in the future, who knows.

    @Nick - I’m not sure what their policy is on that. I’ve been with them three months and have had no problems.

    @Nishu - Unfortunatly I will not be writing more content. You can see by my responces that I’m a poor writer and I’m trying be different by using videos. Sorry

    @Mike Huang - How did you go about getting sponsorship?

    @Mark Venardi - That is the plan. Except I’m going to give it away to build a video blogging list.

    @Ryan - I highly recommend them. I never have to wait more that 5 minutes to get them on the phone. And when I could get my website up they did it for me.

    Hey Marc,

    As usual, I love the videos :). Just wanted to let you know I have added you to my Blogroll. If anyone comes to my site looking for video tuturials on this stuff, I will refer them to onemansgoal.com

    Although I would like to learn more about video posts, I’m still doing it the ‘old fashioned way’ and writing my content!

    I use HostGator and LunarPages. They are my favorite and will only use those two.
