Hey everyone, this post is on the results I got (traffic) from posting a 15 second “elevator pitch” on Jim’s website. I also talk a little bit about a few ideas to get more traffic from commenting on other blogs. Here you go.
The ideas you presented in the video seemed pretty effective and I liked the idea of putting together a ‘pitch’ video. That is definitely one area where I am lacking-creating and integrating video into my blog. You mentioned you were relatively new to WordPress (like me) but you seem to have the video stuff down pat. What about a future post about what video camera/software you use and how you embed your videos into WordPress. A lot of people might find that stuff very basic, but it would definitely be useful for someone like me who wantes to get a camera and start creating video posts, but doesn’t know where to begin. Actually, some articles and posts of mine that I believed to be ‘too basic’ are some of my best traffic grabbers.

Marc,
