I have used most of the sites. It really paid of my work. I love using clippers, and digg. For reddit its ok but kind hard to submit a group of articles, anyway it still good.

Missy - The links themselves that you submit will be indexed by Google, MSN, and Yahoo. This is a big deal, because most of these are well-respected, trusted, and have huge link value.

You’ll also pick up a few links here and there from people finding and linking to your stories on these sites. But you should be doing it mainly for the benefits of the authoritative incoming links from these sites.

Please forgive if this is a dumb question, but in essence are you saying that all the sites above are “dofollow”, as in if you leave a link to your blog, it will be picked up by big G?

Please clarify.

Greek - Well, you are trying this out… so you definitely aren’t missing the bus. However, you are missing the point.

Using these services isn’t a way to generate a lot of traffic. You’ll see some, but for the most part, it’s just a link-building strategy. Start to use these and you’ll begin to see more incoming links to your blog, thus making it a more valuable piece of internet real estate.

I’ve used some of the other, less known, social bookmarking sites, but haven’t seen much of a result from them. Digg, reddit, and stumbleupon have gave great results so far. It seems like within an hour of me submitting a page to Digg, google already sees the link and post on Digg. Submitting to Digg is really a quick way to get your site indexed fast.

Jason - I’ve used it with great results for the last couple of months. Have no fear! It’s sort of a black-hat type tool since it creates new user accounts everytime you use it… but at least you avoid detection, and possible deletion!

I would recommend it 110%. It’s been a super time saver!
