The Goal
By Bryan Clark on Jun 28, 2007 in Uncategorized
My name is Bryan and this is my goal. I have not met one person in my entire 25 years that is content with working for someone else for their entire life. So this is what I propose… Within 12 months I will find a way (using the internet) to make a living for myself by working at home. I’m not looking to get rich, but I would like to find a way to be self-employed and able to work from anywhere.
*Deep Breath* Here we go… only 364 days left!
–Some Background Info–
- I am 25 years old
- I have always thought like an entrepreneur
- I also blog at The Man Blog
- I have no formal training in anything that will help me in this goal
- I have very limited experience with e-commerce
- I don’t know how to code a web page
- I’m from a suburb of St. Louis, MO
- I have a live in girlfriend
- I have a 5 year old son (that lives with this mother but visits on weekends)
- The thought of working a 9-5 job until retirement drives me insane

I have just put up a post about your “One Mans goal”. Feel free to stumble it. I am sure it will bring traffic to your site.
Good luck!

Good luck Bryan! I’ve got some goals I’m trying to knock off myself, and it’s definitely been challenging so far!

Oops, I somehow got subscribed to your old feed (old site) and went over there for updates and wasn’t seeing anything. I thought you vanished
Actually, I grabbed your feedburner RSS url here and then cleaned it up (too the RSS stuff off the end of the URL) and apparantly that led me back to the old feed and I had not realized…

Haha,
I have been looking through the archives and it is good to see how far you have come! Maybe we can grab a beer when I touch down in the US at the end of this year?
