Did You Get The Rss Only Post?

Did my Rss readers get the “Choosing Keywords For Your Niche Blogs” post yesterday? That was part 3 of my Intro to Niche Blogging series. If you missed parts one and two, check them out here - Part 1: What Is Niche Blogging? - Part 2: How To Find & Create Profitable Niche Blogs.

I’m having a bit of trouble with the “Rss only” plugin, so let me know if you are an Rss subscriber and didn’t get the post! I’ll be sending the last two parts out within 7 days and once again, they’ll be Rss only.

    Hi—Bryan:

I did receive the link in my RSS feed reader, but when i clicked the link, it brought me to a 404 error page. I was not able to read it.

Hmmm… what reader do you use Missy?

I am subscribed to the RSS feed using Google Reader and I received the full post. Missy is right, though … if you click the link to view the content on onemansgoal.com the page returns a 404 error. I think that’s just the way the RSS only plugin works, though. The content shouldn’t be accessible via the blog … but only in the feed itself!!

Good point Ben! I didn’t think about that. I forgot that the point of the plugin was that the blog post SHOULDN’T appear on the blog. Which is why it’s Rss only!

I use My Yahoo as my feed reader. (i know i know its old school, but i like it)

I see only the link to the post, not the actual post. Are you saying im suppose to be seeing the entire post on my reader?

Yep, you should see the whole post. Everyone else I sent it to got the whole post.

Why does yahoo just show a link to the post? You should try a reader where you can read the whole post from the reader. Try Google Reader!
