The Blog Sale Trudges On
By Bryan Clark on Nov 7, 2007 in Personal
If it weren’t emotionally draining enough trying to sell this blog, the buyers that are making offers at it seem to be totally clueless. Just yesterday I got an offer saying that he’ll pay $4,500 for OneMansGoal.Com (too low) but he wants me to stay on as a writer INDEFINITELY. That makes a lot of sense. I’ll sell you my blog, and then keep writing here for free.
I’ll tell you this. If One Man’s Goal doesn’t reach the right kind of deal… it just won’t be sold. It’s that easy. I’m not selling because I don’t like the blog. It’s the complete opposite of that. I’m selling for start-up capital for another project, and if it doesn’t reach my “magic number”, then it doesn’t sell. Plain and simple. I have too much committed (time, emotion, and money) to be suckered in to a bum deal.
