How Much Are Visitors Worth?
By Bryan Clark on Oct 24, 2007 in Make Money Online
Do you know how many visitors it takes to make you a profitable blogger? It might not be as many as you think. Yaro Starak once told me (more or less) that the average number of visitors to your site in a single day is roughly equal to how many dollars you make in a month. So lets take One Man’s Goal for example. I get roughly 500 UNIQUE visitors a day so that would translate into about $500 a month right? Well… maybe.
This is a good way to gauge how well your blog is doing. Overall results may be more or less than the $1 per 1 visitor statistic, but it’s a good way to see if you are cashing in on your visits like you should be. Income for One Man’s Goal is way down this month, so I’m not going to be hitting my $1 per 1 visitor mark (probably), because I’ve all but done away with monetization methods until I can better utilize them. They will be making a comeback shortly when I launch my new theme purchased from Adii. It makes better use of sidebar space so that I can really display some of the monetization methods properly without cluttering the entire site with them.
