Make Money Online With Multiple Blogs - Free!
By Bryan Clark on Oct 11, 2007 in Seo
Joe from BONTB (Blog Or Not To Blog) decided to take me up on my offer of guest posting. So tonight I’m turning the keys to One Man’s Goal over to him. He is an experienced blogger that helps others monetize their blogs. His blog is a wealth of information. Be sure to check it out.
Make money online with multiple blogs for free.
There are over 40.000 blogs started daily, but only 10% of them are paid blogs. These paid blogs are the ones in which the blogger buys a domain name, pays for hosting, and sometimes even a wordpress theme.
So what happens to the other 90%?
People open blogs for free on blog services like blogger, wordpress and typepad. About 30% of those blogs make money online.
And this is only one example of how:
As many of you know iPod Touch just came out. So what I did was write a couple of articles about it on my personal blog and just waited for Google Analytics to show me what keywords have been used to access those articles.
I notice two keywords popping up quite frequently:
“ipod touch tricks and ipod touch tips”
This is how you can make money online using your personal blog:
I open my blogger.com account, check if ipodtouchtricks.blogspot.com is available and BOOM It is!
So my next step was to find some similar blog themes about ipod touch or iphone, so I did and installed it (it’s under construction right now).
I wrote 4 articles about Ipod touch that I knew from my own experience, submitted my blog to www.submitexpress.com and 2 days later I was already on google!. After only two days of being on Google, I received over 1000 visits and earned $23 from advertising. Not enough to retire by any means, but it’s a start.
So what does this tell you?
Find a good niche that just came out, open a blog on blogspot or any other free blog service you like, make your blog look professional, post a couple of articles, submit your blog to search engines, ad Adsense and other good publisher companies like (Kontera, The Newsroom, Adbrite, Linkshare etc).
Out of 10 blogs you create I bet more then half of them will work for you to make money. After this niche is bled dry, I link to my personal blog BONTB and I earn backlinks from any remaining search engine traffic that I may receive.
A really easy and quick way to earn a few bucks on a popular and non-relevant (to your blog) topic. Give it a try. It’s free and it is definitely worth the effort.
