Looks good but is that first paragraph ‘The Truth About Money Blogging’ a post or just an intro paragraph? I’d scrap that and move the rest of the stuff up. Also… I could just be think but where’d you get the 17 billion blogs thing from? Wouldn’t that mean there were 68 billion people in the world if 1 in 4 people had a blog?
Anyway nice to see you branching out. Still don’t agree blogs are better than static pages though!

Kirsty - There are 7 billion people in the world (estimates). http://www.ibiblio.org/lunarbin/worldpop
I left out the decimal point. Thanks for catching it!
And the blogs are better than static pages comment isn’t my personal opinion. As far as SERP and SEO are concerned, blogs usually fare much better than static pages.

Ah ok I was wondering where that number came from.
That’s interesting about the blog vs. static page with the SERPS. I can only speak from personal experience but I rarely, if ever, have blogs come up at the top of the SERPS when I do searches. Especially for common keywords… it seems like older static pages are well and truly stuck at the top including, thankfully, many of mine.
I’ve only just started my first blog but I’d be amazed to see it rank anywhere near the top for anything. Could be an interesting thing to keep track of though. A little experiment, I suppose.

Bryan,
I’m glad to be a part of DotComPreneur with you! Your contributions in the areas of monetizing a blog and driving traffic will be invaluable!
I’m looking forward to building a community website where fellow dotcompreneurs can help each other out! One way that visitors to the site can become connected to the community is to download the DotComPreneur Toolbar. This toolbar includes a built-in search tool, email notifier, pop-up blocker, and so much more … definitely worth checking out!

Cool site.
““The make money blogging niche is saturated, you’ll never make a dime—
It’s not so much that it’s saturated. It’s more like there are far more searches for other niches than the make money niche. Bloggers think it’s a popular niche, when in the grand scheme of things, more people are searching for something else.
Good luck!

I would love to let you know what I got on the quiz but I don’t really want to give the website my email address, so I’m just going to guess what I got, hmmm… How about a 65, sounds alright to me.

ONLY SPAM I HAVE IS FOOD THAT COMES IN A CAN= SQUARE CAN. MY BLOG IS TRUE I HAVE FOUND A WAY TO DELETE GLOBAL WARMING. YEARS AGO I WAS LOOKING FOR A WAY TO DESTROY TORNADOS, BUT THEY WERE TOO ELUSIVE SO I PUT IT ON HURRICANES INFACT== A SCOOP FOR YOU AND I MAY STILL HAVE THE PAPERWORK. IN THE YEAR 2000 I SENT ALL GOVERNORS A PROPOSITION TO STOP HURRICANES FROM TOUCHING LAND FOR ONE MILLION DOLLARS FROM TEXAS TO CONNICUTT. THEY IGNORED IT INCLUDING THE TEXAS AND FLORIDA GOV.’S BUSH’S. LOUISIANNA GOVERNOR CUSSED ME OUT ON THE PHONE FOR TRYING TO CHARGE HIM A MILLION TO SAVE HIS PEOPLE BEING THAT HIS STATE IS 3 FEET BELOW SEA-LEVEL.= ALL IS TRUE.
